The Katsina State House of Assembly is to meet Governor Aminu Bello Masari, 17 Brigade Commander of the Nigerian Army, and other stakeholders on the 5th of July, 2020 over worsening bandits’ attacks, kidnapping, and cattle rustlers in many parts of the State.
The resolution followed a motion of urgent public importance presented to the House by a member representing Batsari local government in the Assembly, Jabir Yau Yau during the Wednesday plenary.
The Deputy Speaker, Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki who presided over the Assembly’s sitting thereafter directed the Clerk of the House to transmit the House’s resolution to the Executive Governor.

Deputy Director of Press at the Assembly, Mukhtar Abba Usman, also told newsmen that the House of Assembly members will also meet with the Commander of the 17 Brigade over the same issue.
Abba said Deputy Speaker of the House, Dalhatu Shehu Tafoki has decided that 34 members of the House would be at the governor’s office on the appointed date for the meeting.
